Nyckoles Harbor recruiting news: After Oregon visit, college football world awaits 5-star recruit's decision

Nyckoles Harbor's recruiting experience is coming to an end. The Class of 2023's highest-rated uncommitted prospect is expected to announce, later this week, where he will spend his college football career. Harbor took an official visit to Oregon over the weekend and met in-home with several coaching staffs (VIP) leading up to the Washington, D.C., native's trip out West — including Michigan, South Carolina and Maryland.

College football's "freakiest" recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to 247Sports director of scouting Andrew Ivins, Harbor is a track star who moonlights as a two-way impact player at tight end and edge. His intention is to play on offense at the college level. Harbor not only owns a personal-best 10.21-second time in the 100-meter dash, but reportedly was able to go 20.79 second in the 200-meter dashwithout starting blocks.

Harbor — the No. 15 player overall in this class, on 247Sports — hasn't named a favorite and has kept his recruitment largely under wraps. His only prediction via the 247Sports Crystal Ball is to South Carolina, via The Big Spur's John Whittle, but that came in August.

Here's what analysts and others are saying entering the week of National Signing Day and the latest on Harbor.
