TheRebels and quarterback Jaxson Dart have put up fantastic numbers this season. They’reaveraging 34.5 points and 455.4 yards per game, and both of those numbers are18th-best in the country. Yet, it’s hard to forget how they looked against theCrimson Tide earlier this season. The Rebels were held to 301 yards and 10points.

Lastweek, Dart and company moved the ball with ease against the Texas A&MAggies and their eighth-ranked total yardage defense. It was the first timethey looked great against a good defense all season.

Evenwith last week’s success in mind, the Rebels are about to go up against adefense allowing just 285 yards and 16.5 points per game. While the Bulldogshave allowed 20 or more points in five of their last six games, they haven’tallowed more than 21 all season. If the Bulldogs allow 21 again on Saturday,then they’d have to score 38 on their own just to push on this number.

TheBulldogs’ offense has been much better than they’ve gotten credit for. They’reaveraging 38.3 points per game, which is ninth-best in the country. They’vescored at least 24 points in every game and at least 30 in all but two of theirSEC games.

Buteven with the Bulldogs’ offense clicking, we expect them to struggle a bit withthe Rebels’ underrated defense. The Rebels have allowed 24 or fewer points inseven of their nine games. Them giving up 35 to the Aggies last week will befresh in bettor’s minds, but that result was an outlier. We don’t expect eitherof these teams to score more than 31 this week.
