Our favourite Ons Jabeur vs Anastasia Potapova predictions

Potapova is not playing her best tennis lately but that doesn’t change the fact that she has a decent season. Jabeur is an obvious favorite in this match and it will be interesting to see if she will bounce back after the loss at the US Open.

Ons Jabeur -3.5 @ 4/5 (1.80)

Jabeur has been in the top of the tennis world for a while now but the fact remains that she has much bigger expectations of the season. She is coming off another Grand Slam disappointment and will have to use this tournament to get back to winning track. She plays well on this surface and will have no trouble against Potapova. The Russian had a tough match in the opening round and will stand no chance against Jabeur who will cover the -3.5 games spread.

First set under 9.5 games @ 13/20 (1.65)

Jabeur is in San Diego to win the tournament and she will show that early on in this match. Potapova is a solid player but she has a losing record on hard surface and Jabeur will know how to use her weaknesses. The Tunisian will start strong, breaking early and the opening set will be over in less than 9.5 games in total.
