Pittsburgh Pirates starter Roansy Contreras is projected to record 18 outs against a depleted Cincinnati Reds team. He has a 22.2% strikeout rate in 88 innings this season. The Reds are missing several key hitters. The last time Contrais faced Cincinnati, he recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts. His last start against the Yankees was marred by a 6-0 loss.

Bryce Elder will start for the Atlanta Braves against the Washington Nationals on Monday. He has been stretched out over his last three starts and is expected to pitch into the sixth inning again.
