Reds left fielder Jake Fraley left the first game after being hit in head by a pitch from Manny Banuelos. Frayler cleared concussion protocol and could play Wednesday. Pirates lead the season series 9-6.

The Reds are stumbling to the season’s finish line. Lodolo has been a bright spot in 2022 and looks like a potential long-term anchor in the rotation.
