Overweight can’t stop Marvel Vigor
Marvel Vigor won the modified benchmark handicap for 80 & lower horses by 1 1/2 lengths with 56 kilos. Pawan Putra came second, Cool Cat and Super Bird came third and fourth. Mafia Man won for the 12th time on the turf at Santa Rosa Park. It was Jody Arneaud's first winner from 26 mounts since he returned to the saddle. He had been a reserve in the 1,500-metre contest. Emotional Damage was scratched. It's his first win since his return. The horse has four victories and two seconds from eight starts over the surface.
