Bran, trained by John Sadler, finished second in the G2 Twin Spires Turf Sprint at Churchill Downs on May 6. Bran is the likely favorite in Sunday's Grade 3, $100,000 Daytona Stakes at Santa Anita. Burnin Turfer, owned by Next Wave Racing, LLC and Ellwood Johnston Trust, has won three consecutive races. Homer Screen, a two-time graded stakes winner in Brazil, will be ridden by Joe Bravo. Nero, Majestic Eagle and Homer screen will also be on the card. First post time for a nine-race card on Sunday is at 1 p.m.
