Packers vs. Raiders: Odds, Predictions & Best Bets For Monday Night Football

Bookies

Teams needing a pick-me-up to face off on Monday Night Football in Week 5, as Davante Adams and the Las Vegas Raiders host his old team, the Green Bay Packers, with new QB Jordan Love.

The Raiders (1-3) have dropped three in a row, with the last two losses by a TD or less. The Packers (2-2) are coming off a 34-20 home loss to the Lions.

Green Bay is +1 with an Over/Under of 45 points in the latest Packers vs. Raiders . The spread has moved from Packers -2.5, the total has jumped 1.5 points.

Bookies.com veteran NFL handicapper Adam Thompson – who has hit on a whopping 62-64% of his three years running, reveals his plays for the Monday night matchup.

Packers vs. Raiders Odds

Packers vs. Raiders Point Spread Pick

Neither team has passed the eye test. The Packers are 2-2, but the Lions are the only “legit” team they’ve faced, resulting in a two-TD loss. The Raiders were manhandled by the Bills 38-10, but have been close in other games.

Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to return after going through concussion protocols. But he hasn’t had much field time to prep, and in 28 drives with Garoppolo under center, the Raiders have five TDs and he leads the NFL in interceptions. The Packers are 2-0 ATS on the road and we expect them to go to 3-0. Take the Packers with this small spread.

Packers vs. Raiders Over/Under Best Bet

Raiders games aren’t going Over because the offense isn’t doing its part, scoring 16, 10, 18 and 17 in their four games. On the flip side, the Packers are seeing Overs with regularity.

Vegas’ objective is to take pressure off Garoppolo and get Josh Jacobs – last year’s NFL rushing leader – into the action. Green Bay’s struggles with the run game fit that narrative.

On the same token, the Packers want Aaron Jones to get more touches. Look for each team to establish the run first, chewing clock. Back the Under at 45 points on Monday night.

Packers vs. Raiders Moneyline Pick

The Packers are at -108 while the Raiders are at -112 on the moneyline – basically even money with some juice. We like the Packers on the spread, but the easier play might be a straight-up, moneyline pick.

Oddly, we can get Green Bay +1 at the reduced -105 odds. That’s better than the odds we see in the same books. Until that changes, take the additional point at the better odds.

Packers vs. Raiders Top Player Props

Jordan Love, Over 1.5 Pass TDs

Odds: .

Love has managed just one pass TD in each of his last two games. The two games prior, however, he tossed three apiece. The Raiders have allowed two-plus TD throws in three out of four games; the lone game with just one TD was vs. the Chargers, and Justin Herbert passed for one and ran two others in. Lock in these fair odds at .

Josh Jacobs, Over 72.5 Rush Yards

Odds: .

Jacobs led the NFL in rushing last season, but this year’s been an entirely different story. He hasn’t gained more than 62 yards in any game and is averaging a brutal 2.7 yards per carry. But teams can, and do, run on the Packers.

Only the Broncos allow more than the 155 ypg the Pack give up. Jacobs has received 17-19 carries in three of Vegas’ four road games. The Raiders stick with the run, Jacobs finds his old, productive ways. Lock in the best odds for this prop at .
