Pat Toomey pays up on Phillies World Series bet
The Phillies lost the World Series, but Pat Toomey paid up in his bet with Ted Cruz. Toomey delivered Wawa pretzels, Yuengling lagers, 12 Yuenlings Hershey Porters, 10 bottles of Yards Brawler, and a six-pack of Yardly Golden Ale to Cruz's office in Washington. If the Phillies had won, Cruz had promised some Goode Co. pecan pies, Blue Bell ice cream, Saint Arnold Brewing Co., and beer from Texas’ oldest craft brewery.
