Paul Finebaum rebukes Nick Saban suggesting Alabama deserved College Football Playoff spot on betting odds

Georgia, Michigan, TCU and Ohio State will be the 2022 College Football Playoff team. Alabama missed the cut by one spot at No. 5 despite a 10-2 record. Paul Finebaum believes the committee should have chosen the field based on betting odds. Finebaum believes that the BCS system would have been more straightforward.  Georgia is making its third trip to the playoff and it's Ohio's fifth. Georgia and Michigan are the only undefeated teams in college football. The BSC system was introduced in 2009. It's the first time Alabama has missed out on the playoffs since the second year of the program.
