Paul vs Danis Fight Prediction, Odds & FAQ: Paul Stands Tall

MF & DAZN: X Series – The Prime Card is the next major celebrity boxing event, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 14. Although a lot of fans are anticipating the KSI vs. Tyson Fury main event, another chunk is tuning in for the eight-round bout between YouTuber-turned-WWE-superstar Logan Paul and former MMA competitors Dillon Danis.

While this fight seemed ordinary at first, it quickly became personal when Danis took the rivalry to social media and began targeting Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal. After the bad blood spilled over at the press conference, October can’t come soon enough for fans eager to see how this showdown unfolds.

In the meantime, this article addresses your Paul vs Danis betting needs. From the latest odds and an early prediction, here’s everything you need to know ahead of next month’s scrap.

Paul vs Danis Fight Preview

As the only competitor with boxing experience in this fight, I’m not surprised to see Paul as BetOnline’s -550 moneyline favorite. His odds for victory carry an implied win probability of 84.6%.

After making a name for himself on YouTube, Paul gave boxing a shot when he fought fellow social media star KSI in an amateur fight in 2018, resulting in a six-round draw. The duo had a professional rematch just over one year later, but it didn’t go as Paul planned as KSI won via split decision.

The Westlake, OH native then stepped away from boxing for nearly two years before taking on the legendary Floyd Mayweather Jr. in June 2021. Although the exhibition match wasn’t the most competitive fight, Paul still hung in there as the meeting ended in a no-contest.

Danis, meanwhile, has much more combat sports experience than Paul.

The 30-year-old made a name for himself due to his no-gi jiu-jitsu and grappling experience, going 18-16 across 34 matchups. Danis’ success caught the eye of Conor McGregor, who offered the latter a spot in his training camp.

Danis also fought twice under the Bellator umbrella, picking up first-round submission victories over Kyle Walker and Max Humphrey. Having said that, it’s now been four years since “El Jefe” last competed in a combat sports environment.

Furthermore, Danis doesn’t have any boxing experience. His MMA career was based on grappling, making it interesting to see how he handles the upcoming boxing matchup.

Paul vs Danis Betting Trends and Markets

Unfortunately, there aren’t many Paul vs Danis betting options as most sportsbooks are only offering the moneyline at the moment.

Continue checking back on this article leading up to next month’s fight for more betting markets.

Paul vs Danis Prediction and Best Bets

Even though Danis has the combat sports experience advantage, I’m taking Paul to win in Manchester. He’s been boxing for the last five years and his bigger frame will help him survive whatever Danis has to offer, even if it isn’t much given his grappling preference.

Although we don’t have odds available, I’m still picturing Paul winning via KO/TKO. Danis’ remarks over the last month have lit a fire under Paul, who’ll look to send a message after the internet trolling that’s been done.

Considering how Danis hasn’t fought in four years, I don’t see him surviving this one.
