PCA: The Trade for Baez, His Fandom, The Journey, and More

The Chicago Cubs have a new YouTube series "On Deck". It will highlight some of the team's top prospects. The first one is No. 1 prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong. PCA walks through a number of significant moments in his Cubs' tenure.

Crow-Armstrong was drafted by the New York Mets in the 2020 MLB Draft. He was traded to the Chicago Cubs for Javier Baez and Trevor Williams. Crow- Armstrong has a great admiration for Bajeck. He saw a lot of himself in Bajack and he wanted to be like him.

Crow-Armstrong's dad was a big Cubs fan. He grew up watching the games. Crow- Armstrong is excited about playing for the team he watched as a kid. He is a fan of Aramis Ramirez and Alfonso Soriano.

Crow Armstrong played for Low-A Myrtle Beach and High-AA South Bend last season. MLB Pipeline believes he'll make his debut in 2024. The video ends with a discussion about the Futures Game in Los Angeles and the prospects coming through the Cubs system.
