Pegasus World Cup Turf 2019: Entries, odds and post positions

A field of 10 were assigned post positions for the Grade 1, $7 million Pegasus World Cup Turf. The TurF is a new addition for 2019 to run at 1 3/16 miles on the grass.

Magic Wand is Coolmore's daughter of Galileo. She finished fourth in her last start.

Yoshida won the Woodward and finished fourth in the Breeders' Cup Classic.

Channel Maker finished 11th in the Breeders' Cup Turf. Channel Maker won the Joe Hirsch TurF Classic two starts back.

Aerolithe, a 5-year-old mare, is a Group 1 winner over males. She'll make her international debut here.

Next Shares, 15-1, is a 6-year-old by Archarcharch that won the San Gabriel (G2) on Jan. 5.

Fahan Mura is a 30-1 long shot after a win in the Dec. 29 Robert J. Frankel (G3) at Santa Anita Park.

Bricks and Mortar is 5-1 favorite to win the Pegasus World Cup Turf. Chad Brown and Radi Ortiz Jr. won an allowance on Dec. 22 over the course.

Delta Prince is the runner for race host Stronach Stables. He has won a graded stakes on turf but last appeared on the main track in Aqueduct's Bold Ruler (G3).

Catapult is 9th in the standings. He will run for trainer John Sadler. Accelerate is the favorite.

Dubby Dubbie is a newly turned 4-year-old. He won last time at Churchill.
