Amber Liebrock opened the Women’s Lightweight tournament with a stunning first-round knockout via head kick and punches at PFL 2 on April 7th, 2023.

Larissa Pacheco is the gigantic favorite heading into her co-main event, listed at -1200. Bellator veteran Amber Leibrock is quite the long shot, listed at +750.

There were no Pacheco vs Lebrock prop bet lines or a total rounds betting line as of publication. However, with this being a three-round fight, we’d lean toward taking the over of 2.5 rounds when making a bet on MMA. However, we’d take the under considering both fighters’ career records and finishing prowess.

Larissa Pacheco made major MMA news. Upsetting heavy-favorite Kayla Harrison on November 25th, 2022, to win the PFL’s 2022 Women’s lightweight tournament. Harrison is responsible for two losses on Pacheco’s 20-4 record. Pacheco has 17 stoppages in her 20 career wins (9 KO/TKO, 8 submissions).

Pacheco’s upset of Harrison was Sherdog’s 2022 Upset of the Year. While Pacheco’s championship pedigree includes winning the Jungle Fight Women’s Featherweight Championship and the WOCS Featherweight Championship.

While tough veteran Julia Budd was her last opponent, Pacheco has been battle tested against proven Women’s fighters and former champions like Jéssica Andrade, Irene Aldana, Sarah Kauffman, and Germaine de Randamine, the latter of which handed Pacheco the only TKO loss on her record.

Pacheco’s riding a seven-fight winning streak, including scoring 5 TKO/KO finishes during this winning streak.

There are no reliable or consistent MMA stats available for promotions outside of the UFC. However, we can gather as much information from studying a fighter as possible.

Leibrock’s early career featured a highlight reel knockout in her first professional bout of then highly-touted Ronda Rousey cohort-turned-professional wrestler Marina Shafir 37 seconds into the first round. However, Leibrock was given an immediate step up in competition, facing former UFC title contender Megan Anderson, losing via TKO in the third round in Invicta FC’s fight of the night.

After a three-fight Invicta stint, Leibrock moved onto Bellator with limited success, posting a 1-3 record, with all three losses coming consecutively and via stoppage (2 TKO, 1 Sub). This streak sent Leribrock back to the regional circuit and another one-fight stop with Invicta FC. Since leaving Bellator in 2019, Leibrock has won four-straight fights, finishing all four of her opponents (3 TKO/KO, 1 Submission).

Leibrock enters Friday night’s co-main event with a 7-4 record, with only one fight seeing the judge’s scorecards in her career.

There were no updates for this fight as of publication. However, we recommend paying attention to MMA media outlets leading up to the fight for any last-minute updates or insight closer to the fight.

Leibrock has a height and reach advantage. Pacheco has a more impressive record against world-class competition.

Both fighters are proven finishers, but Pachecho has the skill advantage.

  • Our Pacheco vs Leibrock pick is to take Larissa Pacheco to win via TKO.
