Bellator 300 Betting Odds and Predictions For Every Fight

Two weeks after a massive card in Ireland, Bellator returns with another giant MMA event. Bellator 300 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 7th, at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, CA.

This weekend’s event has 17 different bouts scheduled, including four championship fights. The top MMA betting sites have betting markets for every bout. Keep reading to see the latest Bellator 300 odds and my predictions for the full lineup.

Bellator 300 Predictions

Fight fans will have plenty of exciting action to watch this weekend at Bellator 300. Here are the latest betting odds for all of the bouts on this 17-fight card, courtesy of BetOnline:

Josh Hokit (-1000) vs. Spencer Smith (+700)

Two heavyweight fighters will be making their pro debuts in the opening bout of the Bellator 300 Prelims. BetOnline has Josh Hokit (-1000) as a massive favorite over Spencer Smith (+700) in the opening bout.

Hokit is a former football player who spent three seasons on NFL practice squads. He also was an All-American wrestler in college, so he should have a good foundation for MMA. I’ll stick with Hokit here, but anything can happen in this fight between two relatively unknown heavyweights.

Lorrany Santos (-140) vs. Jackie Cataline (+110)

Up next is a fight in the women’s featherweight division that will see Lorrany Santos (6-1) take on Jacki Cataline (3-3). Santos (-140) is a slight favorite in this fight and is undefeated since her loss in her MMA debut.

Catalin, on the other hand, has lost back-to-back fights. Both women are making their Bellator debut, and I think Santos’s grappling is what makes the difference.

Bryce Meredith (-1800) vs. Miguel Peimbert (+900)

The best Bellator betting sites have bantamweight Bryce Meredith (-1800) listed as the biggest favorite heading into Saturday’s Bellator 300 card. The former University of Wyoming wrestler has finished all four of his opponents so far in professional MMA.

His opponent, Miguel Peimbert (+900), has had a slow start to his career. Peimbert is 2-2, with 1 KO/TKO and 1 submission victory. Both of his losses have come via decision.

Given the odds, I think it is worth considering a small wager on Peimbert. Ultimately, I think Meredith gets the win and improves to 5-0 in MMA

Dmytrii Hrytsenko (-200) vs. Justin Montalvo (+160)

Another fighter putting his undefeated record on the line this weekend is Dmytrii Hrytsenko (8-0). He is scheduled to take on Justin Montalvo (5-1), who is coming off his first career loss. BetOnline has Hrytsenko (-200) as the favorite in this fight, which is being contested at a catchweight of 160 pounds.

Both fighters have four KO wins in their young careers. Hrytsenko also has two submission wins, and his grappling could be the difference-maker on Saturday. I like Hrytsenko to pick up the win and hand Montalvo a second straight loss.

Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov (-210) vs. Maciej Rozanski (+170)

The Bellator 300 Prelims have plenty of experienced fighters as well. For instance, Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov (20-7-1) is scheduled to take on Maciej Rozanski (14-4) in a light heavyweight matchup.

Yagshimuradov (-210) is at a slight size disadvantage, but he is still the favorite to get the win on Saturday. He is the better striker and has 12 KO wins to Rozanski’s 2. However, Rozanski has nine career wins by submission, and I think he is able to use his grappling skills to get the upset win this weekend.

Mukhamed Berkhamov (-375) vs. Herman Terrado (+300)

The second catchweight fight for this weekend pits Mukhamed Berkhamov against Herman Terrado. Both fighters are searching for a win after coming up short in their last two fights. The latest Bellator 300 odds have Berkhamov (-375) as a sizeable favorite in this fight, which will take place at 175 pounds.

Berkhamov was on a long winning streak before his two fights against Lorenz Larkin. I think he will get back to his winning ways this weekend and defeat Terrado, who is making his Bellator debut.

Sergio Cossio (+158) vs. Jesse Roberts (-188)

Sergio Cossio (25-8-1) will have the experience advantage as he steps into the cage with Jesse Roberts (6-0) this weekend’s lightweight battle. However, most sports betting sites have Cossio (+158) as the underdog at Bellator 300.

Despite the odds, I think Cossio will get the win this weekend in his Bellator debut. He is riding a seven-fight win streak that includes six finishes. If he can get past the first round, then I think Cossio can defeat Roberts this Saturday.

Grant Neal (-200) vs. Romero Cotton (+160)

Next up is a middleweight fight between Grant Neal (8-1) and Romero Cotton (6-1). Both fighters have only lost one time in their careers so far, and they both also have strong wrestling backgrounds. Neal (-200) is favored to pick up the win on Saturday.

This is a challenging fight to pick because these are two very similar fighters. It should be a great example of MMA grappling, and I lean toward Neal in this one. Cotton ran out of gas and was knocked out in his last fight, which was just three months ago.

Bobby Seronio III (-550) vs. Alberto Garcia (+400)

Another bout between up-and-coming fighters pits Bobby Seronio III (3-0) against Alberto Garcia (2-0). Seronio (-550) is a sizeable favorite in this battle of undefeated bantamweights. Garcia is making his Bellator debut after securing two wins in Gladiator Challenge MMA.

Seronio, on the other hand, has competed and won all three of his pro MMA bouts in the Bellator cage. He only has one finish, though, with his other two fights going to decision. I think Seronio gets the win via decision.

Ilara Joanne (+190) vs. Jena Bishop (-240)

Ilara Joanne (+190) is a slight underdog as she takes on the undefeated flyweight Jena Bishop (-240) this Saturday. Joanne needs a win to get her career back on track after going 2-3 in her last five fights. Bishop (5-0) will be competing in her second fight for Bellator.

A huge part of Bishop’s success has been her grappling skills. I think she is able to rely on her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu once again and improve to 6-0.

Sara McMann (-240) vs. Leah McCourt (+190)

Another exciting Women’s MMA bout scheduled for the Bellator 300 Prelims will see Sara McMann (-240) take on Leah McCourt (+190). Both featherweights are 3-2 in their last five fights.

McCourt stands 5’10” with a 69” reach, so she will have a major size advantage over McMann (5’6”, 66”). I think McCourt is able to use this advantage to get the decision victory over McMann this weekend.

Henry Corrales (+140) vs. Kai Kamaka III (-170)

One of the most exciting fights scheduled for the Bellator 300 Prelims will pit featherweights Henry Corrales (21-6) against Kai Kamaka III (11-5-1). Kamaka (-170) is the favorite, despite going just 3-3-1 in his last seven fights.

Corrales has been slightly better of that stretch, earning a 4-3 record in his last seven appearances. I like Corrales in this one, mainly because he has the skills to get a decisive victory. He has 13 finishes in his career, compared to just two for Kamaka.

Davion Franklin (+139) vs. Slim Trabelsi (-169)

Rounding out the preliminary bouts at Bellator 300 is a heavyweight fight between Davion Franklin (+139) and Slim Trabelsi (-169). Franklin (6-1) is a slight underdog against the undefeated Trabelsi (5-0).  Trabelsi is making his promotional debut with Bellator.

Franklin bounced back from his first career loss with a decision win over Kasim Aras at Bellator 295. I think he is able to build on that momentum and hand Trabelsi the first loss of his career. Both fighters have three KO wins in their short careers, so this should be an exciting heavyweight matchup.

Every matchup on the four-fight main card will be a championship match. It starts with Liz Carmouche (19-7) defending her women’s flyweight title against Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (13-2). Carmouche (-275) is a moderate favorite to retain her belt this Saturday.

The champ is riding a six-fight winning streak that stretches back to September 2020. Macfarlane, on the other hand, has had two decision losses in her last five fights. Carmouche’s grappling skills should minimize Macfarlane’s best weapon, clearing the way for another successful title defense.

Ryan Bader (31-7) is also scheduled to put his heavyweight title on the line in a rematch against Linton Vassell (24-8). The champion has won three straight bouts since competing mostly as a heavyweight.

Vassell is riding a five-fight winning streak, with his last loss coming in March 2019. These two have squared off before, with Bader getting the ground-and-pound victory at Bellator 186. I think Vassell gets his revenge this time around and dethrones Bader.

The co-main event for Bellator 300 features one of the most dominant female MMA fighters in history, Cris Cyborg (26-2). The women’s featherweight champion will put her belt on the line against Cat Zingano (14-4).

Both women have been staples of women’s MMA for a long time, so it’s a bit surprising that this is their first time facing each other. Cyborg (-500) is a heavy favorite to pick up the win, and I agree with the oddsmakers on this one.

The Bellator main event will see Usman Nurmagomedov (c) (-1400) defend his title against Brent Primus (+800). Nurmagomedov (17-0) is the second-biggest favorite on the card, according to the latest Bellator 300 odds.

Primus (12-3) is no slouch, but it is easy to see why many think he will be outmatched this weekend. The challenger has struggled as of late, with all three of his career losses coming in his last seven fights. At 38 years of age, this could be Primus’s last shot at championship gold.

Unfortunately for Primus, I don’t think he will pull off the upset this weekend. Nurmagomedov has been dominant, earning 14 finishes throughout his career. I think he will add to that total this weekend with a stoppage victory over Primus.
