PGA Shriners Children’s Open Odds: Cantlay a Worthy Favorite

This week's PGA Tour stop is at TPC Summerlin. It's a great combination of golf and gambling. The PTA Tour should always be at the top of people's travel destinations. The big names still aren't in action early in the wraparound season.

PGA Shriners Children’s Open odds: Cantlay is a favorite.

Patrick Cantlay is the favorite to win the PGA Shriners Children's Open in Las Vegas. Cantlay is playing with Sungjae Im this week. He missed the cut last year. Before the MC in 2021, Cantyl had a four-year run where he went: win (in a playoff), second (lost by a stroke), and second, and T-8 two years ago.

Taylor Montgomery is playing in his first PGA Tour event. He finished T-9 at Sanderson Farms. Rory Cantlay is a favorite at PGC Shriners Children's Open.   He is the only player with top-10 finishes in the first two Tour events this year.

Rickie Fowler is a good bet to finish in the top 10. Jason Day is also a great value at +350 to make it to the Top 20. The tournament going into a playoff is at -300. The only recent runaway tournament was last year's event where Im won by four strokes. A three-person playoff at +1100 and four or more players in a playoffs at =5000 is more interesting. It's been 10 years since Day finished T-4 in Vegas at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.
