Victor's parents fled Liberia during the first Liberian Civil War. Victor is one of seven children. They moved to the U.S. in 1999 and lived in Manassas, Virginia before moving to Hyattsville, Maryland in 2002. They raised their children to be responsible for their own needs. For Kevin and Darius, football was their only outlet.

Kevin was shot and killed in December 2011. Victor and Darius are four years apart in age and played football together at Northwestern High School. Darius' family's apartment burned down in October.   The tragedy changed Darius's mindset and he decided to never question God. He believes everything happens for a reason and control what he can control. The Victor family lost their apartment in the same month. They lost all their possessions. It was very difficult for Darius.

Victor went undrafted after graduating from Towson in 2017. He had several opportunities with NFL teams, but they didn't pan out the way he wanted. Victor is a Sales Operations Manager at Penske. USFL drafted him in the 6th round of the Supplemental Draft. He is often spotted wearing merchandise with the phrase “Keep God 1st” on his clothing. His family is his motivation. The New Jersey Generals are early success thanks to good coaching and great leadership. The team is very close and they hold each other accountable. They were projected to finish last in the league in preseason.

After a win, the New Jersey Generals do a chant called "hip hip" which is performed by Coach Riley and the rest of the team.
