Pistons vs. Cavaliers: Preview, odds, trends and best bets

The Pistons are in Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie taking on Cleveland tonight. The Cavs are one of the hottest teams in the NBA, with a 10-2 record in January. However, the Pistons have been hooping as of late, winning two of their last three games. Still, the Cavs are favored by 12.5 points.

Wednesday night, Cade Cunningham will be out with injury again, and that should mean trouble for Detroit. But, the healthy Pistons, led by Bojan Bogdanović and Jaden Ivey, are showing an efficient offense in the last few games. With either Bogdanović or Ivey (or both) on the floor in their last two games, the Pistons are +30. We like that duo, with help from big man Jalen Duren (15.8 points, 12.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game since January 7).

Detroit is 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games.
