Portsmouth legend Matt Taylor comes out of retirement aged 41
Matt Taylor has come out of retirement to play for non-league outfit Abingdon United. He played for Abeddon as a teenager before signing for Luton aged 16. Taylor retired in 2010 after a two-year spell with Swindon.
Matt Taylor comes out of retirement to play for Abingdon. He played 90 minutes in the 1-0 home defeat to Clanfield in front of a season high 230 strong crowd.
Taylor was sacked as manager of Walsall earlier this year. He played for Portsmouth, Bolton, West Ham and Burnley.
