Post Courier Melbourne Cup internationals down to 10

There are no overseas-trained runners in the Caulfield Cup or Cox Plate. There are 10 internationals accepted for the Melbourne Cup. The numbers are down on last year's acceptors. Last year’s runner-up Anamoe and his fellow favourites Zaaki and Mr Brightside were among 69 first accepters for The Valley's flagship race on Tuesday. Deauville Legend is among first accepts for Caufield. Loft and Without A Fight have received provisional approval to travel on a flight that will arrive in Melbourne on October 11.
