Realm Of Flowers was ill with a knee infection and was not expected to race again. She was hospitalised and had gentle rehabilitation. Now she is back and racing in Sydney. Her most recent performance was third in the Group 1 Metropolitan. The mare is a good chance to go to the Melbourne Cup. She is owned by James Bester. He bought her for $180,000. TAB has her as an $11 chance. It's a far cry from when she was unwanted. Besters bought the horse because she had a resemblance to his favourite racehorse Dancing Brave. Durston won the Caulfield Cup that day.
