Post Time: Mucho Gusto breezes to Pegasus World Cup win
Mucho Gusto won the fourth annual $3 million Pegasus World Cup at Gulfstream Park. Irad Ortiz, Jr. rode the horse for trainer Bob Baffert. It was his second Pegasus win, after winning the inaugural race in 2017 with Arrogate. War Story paid $6.80 to show and completed a $2 trifecta that paid $889.60. The morning line favorite Higher Power finished last. He was scratched two days before the race. Mucho Macho Man's sire, Muchosco Man, was a Florida-bred and a Breeders’ Cup Classic winner.
