Premier League table: How will the standings look at the end of the season?

Arsenal beat Liverpool 3-2 at the Emirates on Sunday. The victory means the Gunners are now 14 points clear of Liverpool in the Premier League table. Manchester City are one point behind Arsenal at top of the table, one place above Liverpool.

This weekend's Premier League action left many questions unanswered. FiveThirtyEight have a prediction model to determine outcomes. They have run the numbers on the final Premier league table. They predict that the table will look like this: Liverpool in 10th place, Chelsea in 4th, Leicester and Wolves in the relegation zone, Nottingham Forest in 20th.

The predicted final Premier League table is as follows:

Manchester City will win the Premier League title with 89 points. Arsenal finish second with 77 points, Liverpool third with 71 points and Tottenham fourth with 69 points - and Chelsea fifth with 63 points after poor start. Brighton finish seventh with 61 points pipping Newcastle to seventh. West Ham and Crystal Palace make up the top 10.

Nottingham Forest are predicted to be relegated from the Premier League. Bournemouth are currently 8th in the table but are expected to finish 19th on 37 points. Fulham are also predicted as being relegated on goal difference behind Wolves and Southampton.
