Preston North End v Southampton predictions
Preston made a flying start to the Championship campaign but they have fallen away badly after winning six of their opening eight fixtures.
North End are winless in five and halted a losing streak of three games with a 1-1 draw with Millwall on Saturday.
In contrast, Southampton look to be on the up after a wobble of their own and they are fancied to take the three points on Wednesday.
Saints lost four straight matches in September but have bounced back to win three of their last four, while drawing the other.
