The "Road to UFC" semi-finals are scheduled for October 23rd in Abu Dhabi. The tournament started in Singapore. It will be split into two episodes to air on UFC Fight Pass.
Yi Zha (20-3) and Koyomi Matsushima (13-5) are going to meet in October. Yi Zh is a highly skilled grappler and has a high finishing rate on the ground. Kyoomi won his last fight by unanimous decision. Qiulun (16-8) is going for the Road to UFC semifinals against Choi Seung Guk (5-1). Qiuul un is fast, moves in all directions and strikes off multiple angles.
Park Hyun Sung and Topnoi Kiwram are former teammates. Top noi is aiming to become the first male UFC fighter from Thailand. Kim Min Woo is a bantamweight prospect from South Korea. He will fight Toshiomi Kazama, who holds a BJJ brown belt. The winner will go into the next round. The loser will be eliminated. It's a shame that one of them has to get booted from the tournament.
Balajin (23-3) is a Mongolian wrestler who competes in featherweight. Keisuke Sasu (9-2-1) was a former Shooto featherweights champion. Balaji dropped out of the tournament at the last minute due to Covid. Sasus was submitted by Yi Zha in the first round.
