Pub baron Bruce Dixon chances his hand in the thoroughbred game after buying Macedon Lodge from Lloyd Williams

Bruce Dixon bought Macedon Lodge from Lloyd Williams. The property housed Melbourne Cup winners including Green Moon and Efficient. Mr Dixon will open the property as a commercial centre for up to four trainers. Liam Howley and Andrew Forsman have already joined. The general manager Matt Tillett and chairman Mark Player are excited about the venture. They want to respect the history of the place and welcome the wider racing community. It will offer commercial pre-training and rehab services.
