Quarterback dominoes beginning to topple in 2024 recruiting class
Julian Sayin, a quarterback from California, signed with California High Top247 on Wednesday afternoon. Ryan Puglisi, from Connecticut, chose Georgia over Alabama on October 16.
Dylan Raiola is the No. 1 overall recruit in the 247Sports Composite and is committed to Ohio State. He gave Ryan Day his verbal on May 9. Georgia and Lincoln Riley offered Raiola in February. Riley personally recruited Railio. Raislio visited Ohio in April. Ryan's track record at the position and the program prestige helped him.
Jadyn Davis is considering Michigan, Clemson, North Carolina, Penn State and Tennessee. Georgia pivoted hard to the likes of Puglisi, Sayin and CJ Carr. USC is in the thick of it for Willis (Texas) High’s DJ Lagway and local talent Elijah Brown out of Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei.
Sayin is a quarterback who visited Texas in the spring and summer. He was one of three signal-callers Steve Sarkisian has offered in 2024. LSU is trending for Jacksonville's Trinity Christian Academy's Colin Hurley. Hurly will be in Baton Rouge this weekend for the Alabama game.
Carr is the top-ranked quarterback in the class. He is a Michigan legacy recruit. Marcus Freeman gave his verbal on June 9. Carr ranks as the Top247’s No. 4 quarterback and will play in All-American Bowl. He will be the first quarterback to commit to Notre Dame in several cycles.
DJ Lagway has over 30 offers. Florida, Billy Napier, Clemson, USC and Texas A&M are interested in signing him. Lagways had Alabama and LSU on his short list.
