Quite a fright! Doncaster groundstaff caught chatting as runners approach

The groundstaff from Doncaster's racing team had to flee from the scene of the incident as the runners were approaching. The Charlie Longsdon-trained Rare Edition won the race. The incident was investigated by the stewards and a report was forwarded to the British Horseracing Authority.

The groundstaff are standing chatting as the runners make their way to the second flight. The ground staff rush to safety as they spot the runner approaching.
