Racing fixture list 2023: BHA to increase minimum race values while placing limit on Saturday fixtures
2023 racing calendar will see an increase in minimum race values and a limit on the number of Saturday fixtures. Prize money for Group One races on Flat will be raised by £50,000. The current appearance money scheme has been scrapped. There are 1,478 meetings planned for the calendar. The potential Racing League fixtures for 2023 will not feature on this year's list. They will only be considered at the end of this season's competition in mid-September. A proposal to remove 300 races from the schedule was rejected earlier this this summer. It is still planned to review the situation.
