Racing: La Crique faces possible change of plan
La Crique won the $300,000 Plate at Matamata today. She is in the entries for next Saturday's Group 1 Classic at Hastings. Her trainer Katrina Alexander and her husband Simon prefer to race her with a three-week gap between runs. The Golden Eagle in Sydney on October 29 and the Empire Rose at Flemington on the same day are also options. Pier won a transferred Hawke's Bay Guineas and Paisley Park won in Matami Cup. Pier is joint favourite for the 2000 Guines at Riccarton next month. Long-time favourite Dynastic was unplaced today and was beaten by Imperatriz.
