Rangers 2019/20 home shirt: Leaked images show off new design for Steven Gerrard's side

Rangers are the latest Scottish heavyweight side to have images of their shirt for the 2019/20 season leaked.

Legendary Danish brand Hummel, in their second year of producing kits for Steven Gerrard’s men, have created a classic looking design, with the trademark blue and red instantly recognisable, while managing to give it a modern feel.

As shown on Footy Headlines, the famous chevrons run down either shoulder, while there is a a subtle striped jacquard pattern on the front of the kit, which appears to be a slightly darker shade of blue than usual.

Both the collar and the cuffs are trimmed in white and completed with two red stripes and betting company, 32RED are again the main sponsor.

Puma were the last manufacturers of Rangers kit and it is believed up to 10 parties were interested in taking over to produce kits for the blue half of Glasgow, but Hummel got the nod and are two years into an initial three-year partnership.

Rangers are currently second in the Scottish Premiership, trailing leaders Celtic by 11 points and travel to Hearts on Saturday lunchtime.
