Raptors failing VanVleet, not the other way around

VanVleet is having a down season. He's shooting the ball poorly and his shot selection has also come into question. The Raptors are a better team when he's on the court than when they're losing. His workload and injuries are the main reasons for his decline. He is leading the NBA in distance travelled per game for the third straight season and only Harden has averaged more minutes since 2019-20. he is playing off the Ball more often. his usage rate is down, but it's not drastically different. It's the workload that's affected his production. Since 2019, he has played more than 1,000 minutes per season, more so than any other player.
