Raptors vs. Cavaliers same-game parlay picks: Bet on Toronto to keep rolling

After yesterday’s win to kick off the road trip, the Toronto Raptors are back in action tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The pregame narrative: Toronto is 3- against Cleveland, which gives us confidence that the Raps will at least cover an inflated spread. We’ve also brought down the point total and are fading Jarrett Allen on the glass.

Here are our best Raptors vs. Cavaliers same-game parlay picks for February 26.

NBA odds as of 12:1 p.m. on 2/26/223.

Raptors vs. Cavaliers same-game parlay

Parlay: Raptors +12.5 + over 28.5 points + Allen under 1.5 rebounds (+24)

Raptors +12.5 (-265): The best bet on tonight’s picks article is Raptors +6.5, but we’ve purchased a six-pack of extra points for greater security.

Keep in mind that Toronto has already beaten the Cavaliers straight up in each of their three previous meetings and covered the spread every time. Their most recent head-to-head battle came in Cleveland on Dec. 23, and the Raptors earned a 118-17 victory as 4.5-point underdogs.

By teasing tonight’s spread up to 12.5, we’re backing the Raptors at a number they’ve covered in 26 consecutive games (dating back to Dec. 3). Cleveland has lost its past three games straight up and has failed to cover this number in each of its past six matchups.

The Raptors are 11-8 ATS as road underdogs, according to TeamRankings, which is the sixth-best ATS record in that situation.

Other parlay picks

Over 28.5 points (-25): This might not feel like a fun parlay leg to add after Toronto’s 95-91 win over Detroit on Saturday, but it’s generally a very safe line for the Raptors to clear.

Prior to the Detroit matchup, the Raptors had hit the over on this number in their previous 11 games. They’ve also hit their standard over in 34 of 61 games (55.7%), which is tied for the sixth-highest rate in the NBA.

Cleveland doesn’t have that kind of season-long trend, but its recent results help our cause. The Cavaliers have hit the over in five of their past six games, while clearing this number in seven of their past 1.

Toronto and Cleveland went over this total in two of their three previous meetings this season, including a 225-point matchup when they last played at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Allen under 1.5 rebounds (+1): Toronto has been a tough team for centres to rebound against, and the presence of Jakob Poeltl seems to only be making matters worse.

The Raptors allow the seventh-fewest rebounds per game to centres, per FantasyPros. Poeltl hasn’t been around for much of the season, but he’s hogged 32 rebounds in just the past two games.

Allen has hit the under on this line in all three previous matchups against Toronto this year, and he’s averaging 9.9 rebounds on the season.
