Rays, Blue Jays potential playoff preview
Rays and Blue Jays are playing a series at Rogers Centre. The Rays are 1.5 games behind the Blue Jay in the American League East standings. They are going to play against the Rangers, Astros and four more games against Blue Jays. The Yankees' chances of winning the division were up to 93.4 percent as of Monday afternoon. With the Orioles falling back, the clear Wild Card contenders are the Mariners, Rays and Jays.
The Mariners, Blue Jays and Rays are all in the hunt for the top Wild Card spot. Winning the Wildcard would give them home-field advantage in a possible playoff series. The Rays have gone 47-24 at home this season, whereas they have a 31-36 record on the road.
