Ready to Race? / KTM Betting On Formula 1 Technology

Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has won many championships in various off-road motorcycle racing categories. K TM hasn't won a MotoGP title yet.

KTM entered MotoGP racing in 2017. They have only been competing in MotoGp for 5 years. Their success in other forms of motorcycle racing has not yet made it to Moto GP paddock. Stefan Pierer is looking for technical expertise in Formula 1.

Aprilia hired Massimo Rivola as a team manager. He was previously the Sporting Director at Ferrari F1 and worked with the Toro Rosso and Minardi F 1 teams. Aprilia is now one of the best constructors in the MotoGP paddock. KTM is currently placed fifth in MotoGp standings.

Stefan Pierer is happy that in 2022 there will be three European manufacturers against two Japanese ones.

Aprilia is on the rise in the standings. KTM CEO Stefan Pierer is reported to have commented on it in an interview with Motorsport.

Rivola came from F1 and brought with him a lot of experience at the aerodynamics level.

Pierer wants to use Formula 1-developed technology in the future.

Next year KTM will increase its commitment to staff coming from Formula 1. KMT has a long-standing relationship with Red Bull. Red Bulls have hundreds of aerodynamics technicians with a lot of experience.

KTM has a relationship with Red Bull Formula 1 team. KTM is looking for talent from the Formula One paddock.

Red Bull Formula 1 team is interested in KTM technology. KPMG is betting on Formula One technology and is looking to hire some of Red Bull's employees. Redbull can't stop its employees from working elsewhere.
