Red Sox vs. Yankees prop bets for Sunday Night Baseball

The Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees will close out a classic AL East series in this week’s edition of Sunday Night Baseball.

If you want to take a look at the odds for the event as well as my best bet, you can find those in my betting preview here.

In this article, I’m going to break down two prop bets that I love for the big game.

Let’s dive into them.

Sunday Night Baseball prop bets

  • Brayan Bello OVER 5.5 strikeouts
  • Josh Donald to hit a Home Run

Brayan Bello OVER 5.5 strikeouts

The Yankees have had strikeout issues lately. Over the last 30 days, they have the 10th highest strikeout rate in Major League Baseball, striking out on 24% of their plate appearances.

Brayan Bello has gone over 5.5 strikeouts in two of his last four starts and now he’s in a great position to go over that total once again. You have to love this bet at plus-money.

Josh Donaldson to hit a Home Run

Josh Donaldson has been red hot with his power since returning to the Yankees lineup. He has hit six home runs in his first 12 games, with a slugging percentage of .538.

He should be able to attack Bello in this game as well, since the Red Sox pitcher is giving up 1.4 home runs per nine innings pitched.

Let’s ride the hot hand and back the former MVP to go yard tonight.
