Ricciardo returns to Red Bull as its third F1 driver in 2023
Ricciardo will be Red Bull's third driver for the 2023 Formula 1 season. He will assist the team with testing and sim work and commercial activity. Ricciardo was dropped by McLaren with a year to run on his contract. He spent two years at McLaren before joining Renault. Redbull backed him through his junior career. His first F1 victory came in 2009 British Formula 3 title. After Renault, he spent five years with RedBull. The team is interested in signing him for 2024. It is understood Riccidor will attend around seven grands prix next season, including the three American rounds.
