The Travers is a mile-and-a-quarter challenge over the dirt surface at Saratoga. The race will be televised by Fox with post time slated for 5:44 pm ET. Temperatures are expected to be in the 70’s with very little chance of rain.

Rich Strike, Epicenter and Early Voting are going to meet on Saturday. Rich Strike beat Zandon and early voting last month. Epicentre is the most likely winner, but his odds indicate he has nearly a 42% shot of winning.

Rich Strike won the Kentucky Derby. Epicenter finished second. Early Voting came off a month and a half rest and won in the Preakness. He was a well beaten sixth in Belmont Stakes. His odds are the highest of his career.

Brad Cox won the Travers Stakes last year with Essential Quality. Cyberknife had issues during the Kentucky Derby, but his last four races are victories.
