Rockies vs Guardians Probable Pitchers

The Guardians are -200 moneyline favorites over the Rockies on Tuesday night in the MLB odds, giving them a 66.67% implied win probability. Cleveland has +2200 World Series championship odds while Colorado is an extreme longshot at +60000.

Feltner vs Battenfield

This will be a homecoming for Feltner, who grew up in the Cleveland suburb of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and pitched at Ohio State. It will be his first time facing the Guardians.

Feltner notched his first win of the season his last time out when he pitched 5.2 shutout innings against the Phillies on Thursday in Philadelphia. Feltner allowed three hits and three walks while striking out six.

All three of Feltner’s road starts this season have been at night and he has gone 1-2 with a 6.43 ERA. The Rockies have split Feltner’s four starts.

Battenfield has never pitched against the Rockies in his nascent career and is coming off a tough-luck loss to the Tigers last Tuesday in the second game of a doubleheader in Detroit. He allowed only one run and three hits in six innings while striking out five and walking three.

Battenfield’s lone start at Progressive Field came in his major-league debut April 12 against the New York Yankees. He did factor in the decision while surrendering two runs (one earned) in 4.2 innings.

The Guardians are 0-2 in games started Battenfield, who will be making his first night game appearance in the big leagues.

Rockies vs Guardians Betting Outlook

Mike Moustakas, starting at third base for Ryan McMahon (illness), went 3 for 4 with a double to help the Rockies win Monday night. Jurickson Profar had a home run among his two hits, Kris Bryant also had two hits and Ezequiel Tovar drove in a pair of runs.

Center fielder Yonathan Daza (bruised left hand) also missed the game and he and McMahon are questionable for Tuesday. Bryant returned to the lineup after missing one game with a lower-body injury.

Brenton Doyle was called up from Triple-A Albuquerque and made his major-league debut by starting in center field and went 1 for 3 with a walk. Third baseman Elehuris Montero was optioned to Albuquerque.

Steven Kwan had three of the Guardian’s four hits.

Rockies vs Guardians Last 10 Games

The Guardians are 7-4 against the Rockies since 2014.

Rockies vs Guardians Prediction

Despite getting a rare win Monday night, it’s hard to back the Rockies right now. Go with the Guardians and Battenfield, a promising young pitcher, on the runline.
