Romelu Lukaku hungry for revenge with Inter after being labelled as flop at 2022 FIFA World Cup: Reports

Romelu Lukaku is on a revenge mission after his poor World Cup performance with Belgium. The on-loan Inter Milan striker is eager to prove his doubters wrong. Lukakus has made just five appearances for Inter since joining them from Chelsea. He is back to full fitness and could start against Sassuolo tonight.

Romelu Lukaku played 30 minutes for Inter against Manchester United. Lukakus was injured for the last two months.

Roberto Martinez resigned as Belgium national team coach after the team's World Cup exit. Vincent Kompany is being touted as a possible replacement. Jaap Stam has tipped Kumpany for the role.

Kompany has propelled Burnley to the top of the EFL Championship after 24 games played. He oversaw 41 wins, 30 draws and 19 defeats in 90 games in charge of Anderlecht. Lukaku retired from international football in 2019.

Vincent Kompany will eventually manage Belgium's national team.
