Rugby League World Cup State Of Play
England, Australia and New Zealand have won their two games at the Rugby League World Cup. Greece and Jamaica have impressed for their lesser teams. Every team is still in the tournament and not one is mathematically guaranteed progression.
England, France and Samoa are in Group A. England play Greece on Saturday at 2:30 pm on BBC One and France play Samoa on Sunday at 5 pm.
Australia defeated Scotland 84-0 and Fiji 60-4 in Group B. Fiji play Scotland on Saturday at Kingston Park at 5 pm and Australia play Italy at the Totally Wicked Stadium at 7:30 pm.
Jamaica and Ireland are out of the Rugby League World Cup. New Zealand and Lebanon are in the group C. They play each other on Friday at 7:30 pm on BBC Two. On Sunday they play against eachother at 12 pm.
Tonga 24-18 Papua New Guinea, Wales 12- 18 Cook Islands, Tonga 32-6 Wales, and PapuaNewGuinea 32 - 16 Cook Island. Tongan v Cook Islanders on Sunday at Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough at 2:30 pm. Papua-New Guinea v Wales at Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster at 7: 30 pm on BBC Two.
