Sacramento Kings at Minnesota Timberwolves

The Sacramento Kings and the Minnesota Timberwolves duke it out once again at the Target Center on Monday night.

The Sacramento Kings look to have cooled off from their six-game win streak as they’ve lost three of their last four games and they will be out for revenge after falling short to the Timberwolves in a 117-110 road loss on Saturday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 29 points and six assists, Domantas Sabonis added 23 points with 10 rebounds and five assists while Harrison Barnes chipped in with 13 points on one of seven shooting. As a team, the Kings shot 45 percent from the field and nine of 33 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 38 points in the second quarter to take the narrow lead into halftime, before they got blown away in the third quarter to trail by as many as 12 points.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been playing some of their best basketball of the season as they’ve won 11 of their last 15 games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after beating the Kings on Saturday. Anthony Edwards led the team with 34 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, D’Angelo Russell added 25 points with six assists while Jaden McDaniels chipped in with 15 points and eight rebounds. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 52 percent from the field and 17 of 37 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Kings in a close contest, until they poured in 33 points in the third quarter to pull away and take a 12-point lead which proved to be enough in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Kings are 5-2 ATS in their lats seven road games, 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning record and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Timberwolves are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games, 7-0 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Minnesota, the Kings are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings in Minnesota and the Kings are 1-5-1 ATS in the last seven meetings overall.

The Kings don’t have a single player listed on the injury report, while the Timberwolves are keeping an eye on Taurean Prince and Rudy Gobert who are both listed as questionable for this one. The Kings have gone off the boil lately while the Timberwolves have been in a groove, so it’s tempting to take the Timberwolves to get a similar result in this one, but it's always tough to beat the same team twice in a row and I think the Kings come out swinging and get their revenge in this spot.
