SEPTA to ease traffic for Philadelphia Auto Show, Eagles playoff.
Thinking of traveling into Philadelphia this Sunday? SEPTA may be the best way to go.
With the Philadelphia Auto Show opening this weekend in Center City, along with the Eagles in a playoff game Sunday at the Linc, just after a Villanova-Providence game takes place across the parking lot in the Wells Fargo Center, fans may be tackling traffic issues up and down Broad Street and in the sports complex parking lots.
The 121 Philadelphia Auto Show will take place Saturday through Feb. 5 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch St. A highlight this year will be the electric vehicles on display from several auto makers. For information and ticket prices, visit https://www.phillyautoshow.com/.
How to get there and back with SEPTA
SEPTA is adding extra service on the Broad Street subway line and the regional rail lines Sunday.
And Unibet, a leading platform for online sports betting, bing and poker, “will help Eagles fans get home safely after the NFC Championship Game by sponsoring free rides home from NRG Station on the Broad Street Line,” SEPTA announced Thursday.
“For last week's Divisional Round match-up, a record 19,822 fans took the Broad Street Line to the NRG Station — a record for a single Eagles game."
“This is such an exciting time for our city and region and SEPTA will be ready on Sunday with extra service ... We will also have additional personnel on the system to assist riders and to help ensure that their travel is safe, secure and convenient," said SEPTA CEO and General Manager Leslie S. Richards.
Riders will have to pay regular fares on the Broad Street line to go to Lincoln Financial Field.
Eagles game attendees can connect with the Broad Street Line free from the Market-Frankford Line and city trolley routes at 15 St./City Hall. The Broad Street line is just a short walk from the Regional Rail stations in Center City and extra Regional Rail service will be provided on the Warminster, West Trenton, Trenton and Media/Wawa lines.

To speed trips to the game, SEPTA is urging customers to load funds on a SEPTA Key Card before their travel. Quick Trip single fare tickets can also be purchased at station kiosks.
