Sheffield United's Premier League prediction made with Everton and Nottingham Forest competition

Sheffield United have immediately been installed as many people's early tip for relegation, giving manager Paul Heckingbottom and his players plenty of fuel to prove the narrative wrong. Not only are they among the bookies' favourites for the drop, but the supercomputer's early predictions also have the Blades down as relegation material.

There are six clubs who have been earmarked for a relegation battle, with Sheffield United joined by Luton Town, Bournemouth, Burnley, Everton and Nottingham Forest. However, the calculations have the Clarets, newly promoted alongside United, to just avoid the drop along with the Toffees and Steve Cooper's side.

The prediction has been put together using a range of informative outright odds markets to formulate what the final 2023/24 Premier League table will look like. The results think Manchester City will claim their fourth successive Premier League title, despite challenges from Liverpool and Arsenal.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will finish second, three places higher than their 2022/23 position, ahead of Arsenal and Man United. Mauricio Pochettino will fail to secure Champions League football in his first season in charge, finishing sixth, with Newcastle in fifth.

Although the second campaign in the Premier League recently was a struggle due to the lack of fans inside stadiums, Heckingbottom and his players are taking heart from what happened following the 2019 promotion when they were able to continue that momentum and compete, taking everyone by surprise.

Here is how the Supercomputer thinks the Premier League 2023/24 season will finish.
