Shocked punters cry 'I've never seen a horse that fast' after freak finish to race

THIS absolutely astonishing end to a horse race saw shocked punters cry: "I've never seen a horse finish that fast!"

Lala K defied the odds to swoop home from miles out the back of the screen in stunning style in Seoul, South Korea.

Video of the finish has gone viral online and left one punter saying it could be 'the best win in the history of horse racing'.

Trailed off at the back and seemingly out of it completely, the three-year-old mare disappeared out of shot at one point.

Commentator Alastair Middleton wasn't joking when he said, roughly a furlong and a half from home, that the horse had 'plenty to do'.

But from somewhere the 4-1 horse found the afterburners and scorched home on the dirt surface, eventually returning a cosy two-length win.

Social media was absolutely awash with comments from stunned viewers who praised the ride from jockey Yoo Seung-wan.

One punter who couldn't believe where the horse won from said simply: "Good God."

Another wrote: "Forget the clouds, that one has come from the moon!"

Other fans were quick to question 'what have I just watched?!' and while another just simply said 'wow'.

One comment read: "You’ve got to watch it again to appreciate how far back it came from. Incredible."

Another wrote: "I’ve never seen a horse that fast."

One said the finish was 'incredible' while another said: "Mad. Was dead last with a furlong and a half to go."
