Sky Bet EFL Manager and Player of the Month April winners!

They have scored 19 goals in April and have a 19-3 goal differential. They were bottom of Championship eight weeks ago. Don Goodman believes they will be remembered for their promotion.

Gareth Ainsworth has been named the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for April. Wycombe Wanderers won 17 points and scored 13 goals in seven games. They finished in the play-off places on the final day. They beat Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth Argyle to reach the Play-Offs. Their chances of promotion to the Championship are now 6/5. The final will be played against Sunderland. Ainworth's team beat MK Dons in semi-finals. He is delighted to have won the award. Don Goodman and Ivor Davies predict a promotion for Wycomans.

Matt Taylor has been named the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month for April. Exeter City won 16 points from seven games to earn promotion. The club had suffered heartache in each of last five seasons, losing in three play-off finals. Danny Wilson chairs the judging panel. Sky Sports’ EFL pundit Don Goodman says Taylor delivered the promotion in dramatic fashion with a come-from-behind victory over Barrow. Ivor Davies reckons Taylor deserves credit for delivering the club's promotion they had been striving for all these years. He reckon Exterie were once again one of favourites for promotion at 11/4.

The winger was recently named EFL Young Player Of The Year. NottinghamForest are currently 7/4 to win the Championship. They play Sheffield United in the semi-final.

Sheffield Wednesday striker Lee Gregory has been named the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for April. He scored seven of Wednesday's 14 goals in the month. Gregory is the Owls highest scorer in a league campaign in over a decade. He finished the regular season with 16 goals. Darren Moore and Ivor Davies are the other winners. Bristol Rovers midfielder Elliot Anderson has been named the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month for April. He scored three goals and made two assists in April, including a goal in the dramatic comeback victory at Rochdale. Anderson is on loan at Bristol Rover from Newcastle United. Sky Sports’ EFL pundit Don Goodman said Anderson's performance in May was impressive. Ivor Davies said that Anderson was the stand-out performer in League 2 in that month.
