Smart ‘N’ Sharp on Sydney Group 1 mission
Smart ‘N’ Smart is on a Sydney Group 1 mission. He will run in Saturday's Group 3 Gloaming Stakes at Randwick. His trainer Graeme and Deborah Rogerson want to win the Spring Champion Stake later this month. The gelding is a $3.70 favourite for the GlOaming. He is $15 for Victoria Derby. It is expected to rain heavily at the race. Sharp 'N' Smart had initially held a Cox Plate nomination. However, connections elected not to proceed with the third round of acceptances.
