Song finds her tune as Weld and Orr get it right on the night in Irish St Leger

Dermot Weld's second Irish St Leger success came on Sunday. He is now the most successful trainer in the history of the race. Oisin Orr rode the horse for the first time. It was a first Group 1 for him. He has been training the filly for a long time and helped her settle. The horse is trained by Rosewell House legend Weld. She is a daughter of Vintage Crop. Weld has trained her for many years. Her last win was in Vermeille. This is Weld’s ninth victory in this race, following two for Vintage crop and four with Vinnie Roe and Voleuse De Coeurs.
