Sporting mecca: Fans set to lap up mega weekend of action
Eden Park is hosting rugby and football matches this weekend. The Black Ferns v Japan and All Blacks v Wallabies are playing. On Sunday, the All Whites will play against Australia. It's a sell-out for both matches. Eden Park team spent the past two weeks preparing the pitch. Heart of the City chief executive Steve Armitage expects it to be one of biggest weekends the city has seen post-Covid. The weather will be warm and sunny. There will probably be scattered showers on Saturday but then it will clear into the evening. Sunday will have the warmest temperature of long weekend with a maximum of 20C.
