It's the story of Johan Cruyff and how he came to be such a dominant force. The book is essentially three books in one. It tells the stories of Barcelona, Cruysh and La Masia. In the middle third it's about how Barcelona turned itself from a provincial club to one of the great superpowers of world football. Lionel Messi left the club. This book draws the line from Cruxh to Guardiola to Messi. it would have been one the better soccer books to come out in recent years.
